Vodafone offering free texts and mintes to pay as you go customers

Vodafone is offering bonus ‘Freedom Packs’ of free text messages and voice minutes to pay as you go (PAYG) customers who top up £10, £15 or £20.

There are three Vodafone Freedom Packs to choose from - a £10 top up nets a customer 300 texts and 100 cross network anytime minutes, £15 gets 600 texts and 200 minutes, and £20 provides unlimited texts and 300 minutes.

PAYG mobile top ups
Vodafone Freedom Packs joins Vodafone’s two existing PAYG plans - Free Weekends and Text Unlimited.

Each bundle of minutes and texts lasts 30 days and can be added to a Vodafone PAYG account by calling 2345 from a Vodafone mobile phone.

After 30 days, customers can choose to do add another pack, or switch to the Free Weekends plan to get free texts and/or calls each week, or Text Unlimited to get free texts each month.

The new plan comes hot on the heals of Virgin Mobile’s introduction of a new PAYG plan offering ‘unlimited’ texts and internet access to users who top up £20 a month.
